Cecil Beaton’s 1971 exhibition Fashion, “An anthology” at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, has been our main inspiration.
At the time there was mass publicity about the exhibition with both the Sunday telegraph and Vogue running large features on it Vogue mentioned “there were twenty outfits by Balenciaga, nine by Schiaparelli, eight Poirets, two Vionnets, a Fortuny, and “masses of Chanels”
Beaton was a fascinating character and his aim was to create an exhibition which celebrated “the best of fashion today”.
The clothing and the early 70’s hair styles are a strong reference, to the latest trends in hair and fashion today.

INVLVD | AUTUMN 2018
HG AUTUMN 18 – SALON COLLECTION – INVLVD –
The Hg Salon Collection INVLVD takes inspiration from the work of photographer Henrik Korpi, who spent his career creating highly unique portraits of models, musicians and many other boundary pushing characters.
His photographs are framed with formal simplicity and upfront clothing used as an important identifier of a personal and individualistic style, his portfolio of portraits tend to favour objects that are slightly off the grid.

Cracked Actor is a 1975 television documentary film about the musician David Bowie, made by Alan Yentob. It was first shown on BBC on 26 January 1975.
It was filmed in 1974 when Bowie was struggling with cocaine addiction, and the documentary has become notorious for showing his fragile mental state during this period.

MOLD | SPRING 2018
HG SPRING 18 – SALON COLLECTION – MOLD –
The Salon Collection ‘Mold’ reflects how traditional use of heat have become a source of inspiration, for many modern fashion brands. Molding is the process of manufacturing by shaping raw material using a rigid frame called a mold.
SLICKED & SPIKED are gently inspired by the New Romantic movement that originated in the United Kingdom in the early 1980s. The movement emerged from the nightclub scene in London at venues such as Billy’s and The Blitz.
SLICKED & SPIKED blend the New Romantics ideas of flamboyant, eccentric fashion inspired by fashion boutiques such as PX in London and Kahn and Bell in Birmingham.

ACID NATION | S/S 2017
HÅRGÄNGET | SALON COLLECTION | ACID NATION S|S 2017
ACID NATION is inspired by the youth subculture, that grew out of the Acid House movement, of the late 1980s, into a global phenomenon later on.
The scene embraces the four pillars of the rave scene, Peace, Love, Unity and Respect (PLUR).
“It’s a radical spirit, not a hair trend. Sometimes it’s a glorious mess, other times, it transmits style in perfect waves”says Luca Dazzi HG Creative Director.
Since raves kicked off in late1980s, fashion trends have gone through countless evolutions. Clothing is vibrant and alternative, in recent years, designers like Jeremy Scott and Roberto Piqueras have harkened back, to the psychedelic explosion of the “Raver-Chic” look.
“The hair code for the next season is strictly mid-1990’s” says Luca Dazzi HG Creative Director.
The HG S|S 20117 collection is a collaboration with photographer Henrik Korpi and divided into three distinct sub-collections:
ACID NATION – SUNSET – The Beginning. Polished and contemporary hair, with a mid-1990s feeling. Inspired by the legendary Balearic foam parties at Club Amnesia, Ibiza in the early 1990’s.
ACID NATION – MIDNIGHT – The Upload. The looks are styled as a glorious mess or a brushed out wave. The music is more twisted and the hair is getting messy and dirtier. The air is colder, music locked on and tuned in at a secret location.
ACID NATION – SUNRISE – The Crescendo. A blurred Acid yellow backdrop, where colours and experimental shapes join forces. This is where hair and warped bass-lines meet.
CUTTING TECHNIQUE (HG CUTTING TEAM)
ACID NATION showcases “Overlapping Layers”, as the latest cutting technique, always easy to adapt to any individualistic needs.
COLOR TECHNIQUE (HG COLOUR TEAM)
This season colouring technique takes its cues from “Rectangular Panels”.
